Road to the Spring Show - Demon Hunter - Spring Show
So I figured why not post my work up here as well and get additional feedback from peers and possibly staff. I'm going for a demon hunter that would be something of Blizzard level cinematic art. I cant post up everything at once (unfortunately) :\ so heres where I am on the design to start
Heres where I'm at with the spaulders. I sent the old mesh into zbrush to sculpt out some representation of a skull. Then decimated and back into Maya making it live which snaps verts to it. With the old spaulder I started cutting into it and placing the verts over the sculpt so it would retain the form.
Good point carlobarley I definitely could have. I'm a stickler about having decent topology at most if not all times. I should get into the swing of using dynamesh more though especially when concepting.
Well changed around his face a bit. Added more character. I'm still uncertain of hair/head elements but instead of a melancholy character hes now more arrogant. I kind of want to channel Balthier from Final Fantasy 12 except with less experience under his belt.
