Not completely sure what all of the pieces are intended to be here, so my comments are going to be limited for the moment. On a high-level note, I'd prefer to see some more similarities with the Taizong work by John Jiminez, which is looking to be very indicative of what I think the Rlaan style we're going to run with is.

I'm a bit torn when I look at this drawing, because the ship depicted is beautiful, viscerally lethal, and of possessed of alien flavors (the working of Rlaan aesthetics into the design is apparent) - but it doesn't seem to me to be the Zhuangzong. Clearly, my current textual description is somewhat inadequate. I'll try to clear it up with a sketch or two. When I look at the current design, what comes to me more than a Zhuangzong is something like a Rlaan-built Saahasayaay ground attack craft or some such. So, even if we don't use it for the Zhuangzong, I think there's the potential to pull elements of the design out for future use (although as nice as it looks, I'd prefer to see it go toward something non-atmospheric that we'd see more often... but I digress)

I pronounce Saahasayaay something like: Sah-AH-hoss-i-A-i ... I guess I should look up how to actually write that down properly (and how to enter the appropriate symbols easily). I have a friend with a linguistics degree(among several other degrees) who could help me out if he has the time.
