Here's a concept of Cutman. Did this today after I read about the extension to the contest....

Nice concept. Very interesting remake of cut man. Kind of going back and forth on the tail but everything else definitely works. Making those hands will be a pain XD.

torso feels weird because it breaks the curve, starts curving the opposite direction. the symbol on his chest feels too "light hearted" for the character design unless you want that. hip could use some work but other than that it's pretty cool, leaning more toward not having a tail but that's me. maybe instead have it come out of one of the hands, or as an addl. arm fixture

this is looking bad ass. love the mixture of curves and sharp edges.

nahhh... actually, Brendan doesn't have any time to finish this so he handed it off to me.
modeled the hands and did very minor tweaks in other places. know i could optimize but time is running out.
uv unwrapped by hand but used maya's auto-layout to quickly place all the islands.
deadline is friday @ midnight, right?

6300 tris, one 1024 map. definitely more i wanted to do w\ the textures but happy how much i got done last minute.
will do a quick and dirty fk rig and get this guy in better pose for the final.
