Haven't got any replies so I'm guessing I need to rework it a bit. So here is another sketch I did.
thats working better for me. I like these.
I think you could just move into making orthos and start modeling... Lets see if I can get Scott to drop a line...

Hello,
The second sketch is great! I'm with Dabu - at this point in the process you're going to want to ortho up and move on to modeling as soon as you can. As you move forward, I'd be careful with the legs - you want them to maintain that twisted and tangled look without getting too muddled.
This model has a lot of potential - I'm looking forward to seeing it!
