Reserving this for recording my own GoZ tutorial. The one on Pixologic is very narrow so I want to include some things to look out for. Some things are to be assumed but as we know, in the heat of a situation you may overlook something.

If anyone does find a proper tutorial already made, post it up and I'll just slag this info. The current exxperience I had was with GoZ plug-in for Mac, since I needed it for a pressing project. PC version is out in August with ZB4.

Basics:

Make sure you're on the lowest SubDivison when you GoZ either direction (a given)
when hitting GoZ from ZBrush -> Maya, make sure your Tool>Export settings are set to the proper scale. your model in ZB may import into Maya VERY tiny, so watch out for that, and the XYZ settings should be 0,0,0
after using GoZ from ZBrush -> Maya, do not delete history in Maya
editing you do can be from imported meshes as long as you make sure the final basemesh is properly Combined, Merged where need be, and without any relics (ie: double faces)
make sure to delete any remaining geometry that will not be imported
make sure the center does not change

I think that's it for now, I'll fill in more when I get time... or when my Stimpack kicks in.
