Here is the concept:

that's pretty funny man, the boomerang is already dangerous enough without the dynamite.

here a quick prototype of a possible design.

You should incorporate the dynamite into the b-rang... I mean... u just duct taped the stick to the b-rang... kinda... ehhh...

well, yes, it's obvious that the dynamite is just strapped to the boomerang. The thing is, when I incorporate the dynamite in the boomerang, it won't be as clear as to what is going on. For example...I could say the boomerang is filled with Semtex, but it'll still look like an ordinary boomerang, shape wise.

its like that boomerang out of mad max 2 the one that cuts off the guys fingers, catch if you dare.
This will be cool but you may need to stylize it more, to make it feel original. With that poly budget you could make two useless explosives. Like a grenade with a bungie cord on it.

The boomerang itself is twisted - the two halves have diff angles. Secondly, they are hardly flat... more like an airplane wing, thicker on the front than back (or vice versa - forgot which one).
Since it is an unconventional weapon of questionable practicality, why not have a cylindrical opening in the end of one of the wings where the dynamite and fuse will stick out of - it will actually make more sense in terms of aerodynamics and would still be visible for people to make sense out of. Also the wing where the dynamite is can be shorter to compensate for the weight difference. Like in Mad Max, the boomerang was not symmetrical.

yeah, keep refining the design, its not quite there yet. I would expect to see all these entries with a slant towards cartoony and stylized...
