I started this as something to keep me busy between projects at work and possibly a portfolio piece depending on how it turns out.

I've spent about 4 days working on and off on this so far.

There is still a BBQ and circle table with umbrella I am going to add to the left of the overhang, and I haven't decided what I'm going to do with area on the right of the pool yet.
Also I'm aiming for ps2 specs. So for the final scene 10,000tri's and I'm shooting for five 256 maps.
Current tri count is 6,649.

Ivy is looking a tad uniform, give it some variation. The mood is working, distance mesh?

The scene looks good for INGAME.

Shadows are not defined enough for a convincing look.

If all the bricks in the wall are modeled, as well as, the in between wood grooves instead just textured, the scene would looks more realistic.

Try lighting the scene in VUE 7

normally i would agree but this is only going to be used ingame and on ps2 which doesn't support normal maps.
I am thinking about re-doing some of the objects in this scene on 360/ps3 specs, in which case there would be a lot more detail added into the geo

I like the feel as well, would some transparency to the lights be possible? I think that would help along with some variation that was already said.
