Started Kermit Roosevelt now. There isn't a lot of reference photos of him out there. I have just 2 main ones I've been working with. I've been filling in the blanks with images of John Hodgman (the PC guy) so he should look more like the soft 3/4 image I have of him. Looking at what I have so far I think he could have a chubbier face, and not sure I should keep the serious look or go with an express similar the reference. I don't think he's too jolly like the pics, he pitched the coup.
good start, needs some tweaking to the back of his cranium...

i think his ear is a bit more pointed and also his hairline is more receding.

I blocked in the hair a little better to make sure I'm getting closer to the head shape. I worked on some facial areas as well. I've started using images of John Turturro, mainly for his nose and how Kermit's face might look relaxed because they have the same smile. My image's of Kermit are still the main ones and have the most weight of how I'll make his face look.

Heres more progress. I decided to go with the thinner image of Kermit Roosevelt as my #1 ref. Getting closer.
fill out the back of his head a bit more in the 3/4 view...

I retopologized the Kermit Roosevelt model, uved it, and refined the model some more. I think I'm ready to normal map him now.
tip of his nose feels a little bulbous, but Im liking him.
Heres the stylized sketch that he will end up as...
