These are some pics from the ecorche i made last semester. It was a great class and i recommend it to any one who plans to model bodies. i plan to revisit this sculpture at some point need to finish up the hands and feet and then detail some parts and also fix some proportions in the back. And yes it takes forever to make one of these.

i took it with David Wagner. He is a great teacher. I sat in on a few other classes and neary is a cool guy but the class was just not getting it. he had a very hands off teaching style from what i saw and the majority of the class seemed to be doing figure sculptures with surface details as appose to actual ecorche. David is probably one the most knowledgeable anatomists at the school. In terms of quality our class had the best looking ecorches out of the 3 different teachers. And all of our where more consistent in terms of proportion as we spent more time in the early layout stages. all awsome classes. if your going to take it try to get Wagner, you wont regret it.

Good job on the ecroche model. I had ecroche with David Wagner too. Great class. If your doing more work on it I would give the triceps more mass. They look a little thin from the side. You might have seen these images before, but they might come in handy when working on your ecroche.
