This is a 69 Camaro that I have been working on. 90% finished with just some interior work to be taken care of, mostly texturing related. I've done a couple of different paint jobs on it, one is a classic and the other custom.
Comments, advice and criticisms are welcome.

At first glance I thought you were just showing reference images. Very realistic and great job.
wayyy too clean on the texturing, but nice model, looks accurate to the original object

not everything is meant to be dirty :P. The pristine look is a look some people aim for. Imagine for a car commercial, you don't want a rusted dirty POS showing it off.
Looks good man, I would say the biggest thing that I noticed that needs to be addressed are the windows. They lack reflection so the highlight from the rest of car is stopped by them.

also I would say the sides of the tires feel bare. Lacking a manufacture's stamp/ tire information. Anywho, hope that helps.
well, thats just it. Even clean cars have the slightest bit of dirt on them. Its what seals the illusion of realism.
The tires especially look plastic and lack weight. Add in the chrome around the wheel wells...

I've fixed the tires (I think) on this one, changed the glass and adjusted the lighting.
I need to do some work to figure out how to make it not so clean and perfect.
looking better, try taking the reflectivity down on the chrome, and put it in a simple environment so it can reflect it....

def agree with dabu on putting it into an environment of some sort. it would definitely help bring the car out, and also there are too many images out there with a car on a flat background. the light reflection off the rims should be taken out is distracting. also the blue light underneath is confusing, muscle cars with underglow is so Fast and the Furious!!!!! (jk but it is weird)
i like the modeling great job on that. if you do put it into a scene, you may want to consider some weight on the tires, so the bottom isn't perfectly round... not sure how it would turn out but you may want to play with that

if you want to keep the showroom render, try creating a couple planes and applying their incadesence all the way up, then moving them high and away from the car, this will give the effect of photo lights being reflected on the cars surface

Thanks for the input. I'm working on an environment now and I've modified the chrome shader on the rims.
I don't know where that blue under light is coming from, there are no running lights on this car, I'm a fan of old school muscle so I would never to that. It would be like a Groucho mustache on the Mona Lisa :D

yea agreed instinct, was a half-joke but maybe check how your light reflects? could be something else, such as some environment lighting if you're using a Max environment dome
love muscle cars too :D
