So my thesis book was due today. So this past weekend was my deadline for it. Thanks for all the help and feed back I got. It help out a lot.

Here are some of the images of my project I used in my book.

Here is one of the characters. I created a game model and textured him.
Tri count 3096
1- 512x512 map

Here is the 2nd character.
I created a game model and a Z-Brush sculpt for the normal map.
Tri count: 6530

Here is the last model. I just created the game model and a Z-Brush sculpt, no texture map.

Epic post, Andrew. Congrats on finishing.

As far as getting a job goes, theres still a way to push this to make it top shelf, but solid collection of work.

Now you just need to choose environment or characters

Hey Andrew. Great work. I'd still try to add more of the smaller details - rocks, bushes, etc. (on your own time, I know you're finished with the presentation... and if you're not sick of it yet)

Is there a chance you might be able to explain or point to a tutorial explaining how to bake the texture maps for your terrain to show in real time in the viewport (that's what it looks like u have going).

yea I was planning on creating a tutorial for that. I just ran out of time the last few weeks. Just got back form visiting the Fam for Thanksgiving and taking a nice relaxing week off. So hopefully I'll get it done this coming weekend.

So I had my thesis presentation today. They liked my project and passed me. I now have my masters. YEA!

I posted the lightmap tutorial I created up in the tutorial thread. Check it out.
