When a company contributes to gamestepper, they get select talent from the community to produce 3D assets for their projects.  In exchange, students receive industry experience, choice content for their portfolios, and credit when the title ships.  Having worked on an actual title by the time you graduate can make all the difference when it comes to landing that first gig.
